My play here is Burton-135. Get it now at
Pinnacle if you are funded there. This has
value IMHO.

Franks can you let me know if you see a local line out for Gatti vs Dorin?

If I see a line I will relay the info. Picks:
Corrales-115 over Freitas
Burton-150 over Augustus
Castanada+105 overJohnson
Diaz-115 over Sim
Soliman+165 over Joval
Hernandez+ a whole lot over Morales
Klose+150 over Trabant
Check Castanadas' record. It would indicate
a substantial edge over Johnson. He has losses but he fought guys with winning records. Johnson is a steady passenger on the tomato can
express.

Cool beanos Franks. I like that tomato can express one.

Why do I have a feeling that Spinch and his wisemen that he talks to have all of these fights capped also but he's just not showing us enough love and posting.

Wheres the love Spinch?

I pulled the trigger on Augustus 2nite b/c I feel the line went to far. Draws not out the question, but I think Augustus is just the better fighter in what appears to be a PK fight. If the dog shows up with his head on straight, he wins. The fights also at 140.

I opened Constantaneda the fav, but the dog has been getting $. Not sure whether I will pull trigger on Sacramento native against the Olympic alternate, but if I see +115 or better on Constan, I am biting.

Win or lose I like that pick. All of these wars on Morales are going to catch up with him sooner or later. Hernandez has a lot of heart and will pressure the hell out of Morales. Morales probably wins but at this point he can lose to anyone (IMO). I'll probably bet Hernandez as well.

took a piece of hernandez at +380.....probably should have waited....i was very impressed at the dizzying workrate he showed vs steve forbes, who, although not a puncher,is a very tough hombre....

as far as burton vs burton goes, courtney is another guy i`ve been waiting to jump in against....way overrated....manfredy,as we now know,is through....

but which emanuel shows up?....the one that was a buzzsaw vs alex trujillo or the one that fouled himself out of the barrientes fight?.....

this is in burton`s hometown.....i`dlike to take a shot with burton-augustus......not sure if i feel like rolling the dice....

why bother?....

I guess I have just landed on the wrong side of a hometown decision. I can't say I'm suprised after the knockdown was called a low blow. That robbery hurt.

The thing that really showed how big of a piece of sh!t that ref is was when Burton was doing the obvious rabbit punching and the ref decided to give Augustus Burtons warning instead. That was almost funny.

This kind of shit is what stops me from laying down the big $$$. Not only do you have to handicapp the fight, but the judges, ref, and the promoter. Worse than figure skating.

congrats franks.....condolences,joey.....

one of the worst decisions i`ve seen in awhile.....99-90?.....whoa.....given the knockdown,99-90 is almost acceptable.....for augustus....

i would have been very unhappy had i touched augustus......although his act in the ring is wearing thin,he dominated....the knockdown was absolutely a good shot....

and the judge didn`t know the difference between a majority decision and a split decision?....

whew....

this blows whatever value going against burton in the future would yield....

boxing has to find a way to discourage this kind of b.s.....and on national t.v. to boot.....

franks....savor this one...we all know we will be on the shit-y end of this stick again.....

joey....stay away from sharp objects...

I feel just awful. How can I take this win and winnings from Pinnacle? I'll tell ya. It makes
up for the times I've been on the wrong end
of BS decisions. What comes around goes around.
Augustus won BUT he also almost makes you not
want to give the nod to a guy who as he said is
a showman a.k.a. clown first and a boxer second. Not for anything, but this "showman" sends out the message he would rather jerk
around and make folks laugh at his antics than
showcase his boxing skills and impress the
zebras(judges). Yea, judges are human and are
influenced by many factors. The ref in that
fight was obviously biased though. It's happened before and will happen again. As they
say, take the money and run.

I smelled bad beat mid way thru the bout. I figured when I opend -135, money would come in on Burton, when in reality I felt Augustus was the better boxer of the 2, despite his 24 loss resumee. Like Frank said, it happens and I figured I'd have a shakey road. I am hoping I get the payback against Klose in Germany this week. I need the hometown kid there, on the king of corruption cards.........Universum.

i was kinda looking at donnell wiggins as a dog vs yusef mack.....

mack didn`t show me much vs griffin....and wiggins, although he has a few tough miles on him,has only lost to pretty legit, tough guys(hoye, lacy and azille)......the other loss was due to injury....

might be worth a small 2-1 shot....

was also looking hard at branco vs ulrich.....of course, the german factor is worrisome....fought the much better opposition.....used to fighting away....

don`t know if it`s worth the shot....branco hasn`t had much luck in the fatherland... of course, after the augustus fight,it`s very tough underplaying home court advantage...

probably a no-go...

I grabbed some +270 when a book opened b4 me. I had to take a crack with the dog there.

I also gave a tickle on the fav against Klose. Can't pass up a German at home when you can lay -130. LOL. Venue alone makes a PK into a -175 or higher.

Hey, I watched Harris vs Urkal and Harris did not deserve that win in my opinion. You can get a fair shake in Germany. But Urkal isnt with Universum so maybe that was his problem.

Urkal outshined Harris down the stretch of that fight a little and thats why Harris dosent want to go back and fight him again. He knocked Urkal down in round 2 or 3. Urkal was lunging in because he was having trouble with Vivians reach but once he adjusted he did just fine with him. If they fought again I would bet Urkal and I think Harris knows he probably couldnt beat him if he goes back.

By the way I went to Golden Boy Promotions site and it was funny. I found out why Juan "Pollo" Valenzuela pulled out of that Cotto fight. Take a look at his pictue on the site. It's gross. I cant believe they put that picture up.
Actually its really damn funny, they try to airbrush over the bottom of the picture in an attempt to conceal his pregnancy.

Klose vs Trabant

The first fight was very close and klose was taking the fight on very short notice so it will be close again and probably Trabant via dec but Klose is a very live dog.
Plus Trabant is recovering from the loss to Rivera and split again from his wife who he married for the second time just half a year ago. Also he still is cutting very easy, he had operation but it is still a problem.
I will probably stay away.

Ullrich vs Branco
I take the under 11 and half for + 275.
Branco has to knock out Ulrich to win anyway and Ulrich is a offensive fighter who is good to watch and likes to mix it up. I saw Branco two times and he was horrible (OTTKE and Drews) but he beat some decent opponents. Ulrich is way to fragile to lay that much. Most likely Ulrich via dec but i like my chances at 275.

My strongest felling is on Soliman vs Joval.
Joval is getting old and he was not impressive agaist a fat hernandez last time out, Soliman is on a run and getting better from year to year he has power, condition, tons of experience and he always shows up to fight.
The fight is on neutral ground and not like in the first fight in Jovals hometown and it was a close MD in 2001 and Soliman had just 16 fights back then. he should be the fav and not at + 150.
